Does it cost anything?

No. The MCP server and the editor are free, with no API key and no account needed to connect. Your agent does the thinking on your own plan; appdesigns runs no AI model.

Do I need an account?

Not to connect or to create a set. When you open the link your agent gives you, you sign in or create a free account to save the set to your library, so you can come back and edit it.

What happens to my screenshots?

Your agent uploads them to a private staging area that nobody can browse. When you save the set, the editor copies them into your own private project and the staged files are deleted; unsaved sets are deleted after 72 hours (by the next daily cleanup at the latest). Nothing becomes public unless you submit a set to the gallery yourself.

Which apps and stores does it work with?

iOS, Android, Expo and React Native, Flutter, and web apps. It makes App Store sets at 1320x2868 (the 6.9" size every iPhone app needs, plus 13" iPad) and Google Play sets at 1080x1920.

Which agents work?

Any MCP client that can run shell commands: Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code with Copilot, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Zed, Cline, Goose, OpenCode and others. The agent needs a shell to capture screenshots and upload them.
