appdesigns is a browser-based editor for App Store and Google Play screenshots. You upload the screens from your app, put them in a real device frame, add a headline and a background, and export a set at the exact size the store wants. I built it because every tool that did this well charged for the export, and the export is the whole point.
Who
I am Haider, an independent developer. I design and write everything here, review every set submitted to the gallery, and answer the support mail. You can find me on X, or email me at hi@appdesigns.click for support, billing or anything else. The blog posts are mine too, and each one is checked against App Store Connect and Play Console before it goes out and again when Apple or Google change something.
Why it is free
The editor is free and stays free: every device frame, every canvas size, the template gallery and unlimited exports, with no watermark and no account required. None of that will move behind a paywall.
Pro is an optional subscription. Most of it is the features that cost money every time they run: caption ideas and translated sets, which each call an AI model, and custom fonts, unlimited image uploads and 1 GB of room for saved projects (a free account keeps 20 MB), which are stored and served for you. It also has the motion effects for animated App Store headers. If the free editor is all you need, use it and enjoy it.

What happens to your screenshots
Rendering and export happen in your browser. Without an account nothing is uploaded; your project is kept in the browser's own storage. The one exception is a coding agent you connect through the MCP server: it uploads the screenshots you ask it to use to a private staging area, deleted once you save the set, or after 72 hours if you do not. With an account, projects you save go to your library and stay private until you choose to submit one to the gallery. If you use a Pro AI feature, the screenshots or captions you choose are sent to OpenAI to write or translate the text, and nothing is sent otherwise. The privacy policy has the full version.
