All four are accepted by the Mac App Store. Export at 2880 × 1800 unless the source window is small.

Landscape only, and that is fine
A Mac canvas is 16:10 and always landscape. Put the laptop in the lower two thirds and the headline above it, or fill the canvas with the window alone; both are common on the Mac App Store.
Detail survives here
Mac screenshots are displayed large, so this is the one place fine detail in the interface is worth keeping. Export at the largest size and let App Store Connect scale down.
Not just for the store
The same frame with a transparent background is a product shot for a website, a README or a launch post. Export once, use it everywhere.

What size are Mac App Store screenshots?
2880 × 1800, 2560 × 1600, 1440 × 900 or 1280 × 800 pixels, all 16:10 landscape. The editor exports at any of the four.
Which Macs are available?
MacBook Pro 14" and MacBook Pro 16", in silver.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the editor, upload your screenshots, export. An account only adds cloud save and the ability to submit your set to the gallery.
Is it really free, or free to start?
Free. Every device frame, canvas size and export is included, exports are unlimited, and nothing carries a watermark. You do not need an account to download your work. There is an optional way to support the app, and it unlocks nothing extra.
