Terms of Use

1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to appdesigns, operated by Haider Nawaz ("we," "us," or "our").

By accessing or using appdesigns at appdesigns.click (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

appdesigns is a web-based editor for app store screenshots and device mockups. With the free Service you can:

  • Create device mockups with your own screenshots and artwork
  • Use and customize templates
  • Export images at app store sizes
  • Animate App Store headers, search results and In-App Event art, try motion effects on them, and export them as video
  • Share templates publicly (optional)

With a Pro subscription you can also:

  • Get AI-written caption ideas for a screen
  • Translate the captions of a set into other languages, one project per language
  • Upload your own font files and use them in your designs
  • Export motion effects (snow, confetti, sparkles and bokeh) in animated App Store headers
  • Keep any number of your own images in the asset library
  • Keep up to 1 GB of screenshots and images across your saved projects

2.1 Free and Pro Features

  • Free: The editor, every device frame and canvas size, the full template gallery and unlimited exports with no watermark. No account is required to create or export. With a free account you can keep up to 5 of your own images in the asset library, and your saved projects can hold 20 MB of images.
  • Pro: A paid subscription that adds the AI features, custom fonts, motion effects, unlimited image uploads and 1 GB of project storage described above. AI features are limited to 20 AI actions per account per rolling 24 hours, and may be paused or limited to keep the Service running. Pro adds features. Two limits apply to the free Service. The image upload limit, from September 28, 2026: a free account that held more than 5 uploaded images before then keeps them until October 5, 2026, after which its oldest uploads beyond 5 are removed; images already placed in a saved design are not affected. The project storage limit, from October 26, 2026: a free account whose saved projects hold more than 20 MB of images cannot save new images until it deletes projects or subscribes to Pro. A free account that was over 20 MB when the limit began keeps everything until November 2, 2026, after which its private projects made before the limit began are removed, least recently edited first, until what is left fits; projects in the gallery and anything saved since the limit began are never removed this way.

3. Account Registration

3.1 Creating an Account

  • You must provide accurate and complete information
  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account
  • You may not share your account with others
  • One account per person

3.2 Account Security

  • Keep your password secure
  • Notify us immediately of unauthorized access
  • You are responsible for all activity under your account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

4.1 Pro Subscription

  • Pro costs $15 per month or $144 per year, plus any sales tax or VAT that applies where you live
  • Payments are processed by Polar Software, Inc. (polar.sh), our reseller and merchant of record, who sells the subscription to you and handles billing, tax and receipts. Your purchase is also subject to Polar's buyer terms
  • Subscriptions bought before October 5, 2026 were sold by Paddle.com, which no longer processes payments for appdesigns. Pro stays on for them until the end of the period already paid for
  • You need an account to subscribe, so that you can manage and cancel the subscription
  • The subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period unless canceled
  • You can cancel anytime from the Manage Subscription option in the account menu of the editor, where you can also update your card, switch between monthly and yearly billing and download invoices
  • Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; Pro features stay available until then
  • An existing subscription keeps the price it was created at, including subscriptions started before Pro launched on September 27, 2026

4.2 Retired Credits and Contributions

Export credits were retired on 2 September 2026 and can no longer be purchased. Exporting is now free and unlimited for everyone, so any credits remaining on an account are no longer needed and are not spent. One-off contributions were retired on 27 September 2026 and can no longer be made. If you bought credits or made a contribution and believe you are owed a refund, contact us using the details in section 4.3.

4.3 Refund Policy

We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee on your first payment for Pro, to comply with consumer protection laws.

To be eligible for a refund, you must request it within 14 days of that payment, and the request must be made in good faith.

All refund requests should be submitted to hi@appdesigns.click. We review each request, and approved refunds are paid back through Polar, our merchant of record, within 5 to 10 business days.

A full refund ends the subscription straight away, along with its Pro features. A chargeback can end it the same way.

No refunds are available for renewal payments or partial billing periods, except where required by applicable law (e.g., if charged in error).

4.4 Price Changes

  • We may change the price of Pro for new subscriptions
  • An existing subscription keeps the price it was created at. If we ever need to change it, we will tell you at least 30 days before the change, and you can cancel before it applies

5. User Content and Ownership

5.1 Your Content

  • You retain all ownership rights to templates and artwork you create
  • You grant us a license to store, process, and display your content as necessary to provide the Service
  • You can delete your content at any time

5.2 Public Templates

  • If you submit a template for approval to the public gallery, you grant other users a license to view and use that template
  • Public templates are visible to all users
  • You can withdraw templates from the public gallery at any time

5.3 Content Responsibility

  • You are responsible for the content you upload
  • You must have rights to any artwork or images you use
  • Do not upload copyrighted material without permission

5.4 AI-Generated Content

  • Caption ideas and translations are generated by an AI model from the screenshots and text you provide, and may be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable
  • You are responsible for reviewing anything generated before you publish or submit it, including to the App Store or Google Play
  • To generate it, the screenshots and text you choose are sent to our AI provider, as described in our Privacy Policy

5.5 Custom Fonts

  • You may only upload a font file if you have the right to upload it and to use it in the designs and images you make with the Service, for example under the font's license
  • Fonts you upload are stored privately for your account and are not shared with other users
  • If your Pro subscription ends, fonts you uploaded keep working in your existing designs; uploading new fonts requires Pro

5.6 Commercial Use License

  • You may use the mockups and exports you create with appdesigns for personal or commercial purposes, including marketing, app store listings, websites, and client work
  • You must have the rights to any screenshots, artwork, or other materials you upload
  • You may not resell, redistribute, or sublicense appdesigns templates, device frames, or UI assets as standalone products outside the Service

6. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

  • Upload illegal, harmful, or offensive content
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights of others
  • Upload malware, viruses, or harmful code
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
  • Use automated tools to scrape or collect data from the Service
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with the Service's operation

Violation of this policy may result in account suspension or termination.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Our Property

  • appdesigns, including its code, design, branding, and features, is owned by us
  • You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works

7.2 User Content

  • You retain ownership of your templates and artwork
  • We do not claim ownership of your content

7.3 Public Gallery License

  • Public templates are licensed for use by all appdesigns users
  • Users may customize and export public templates
  • Public templates remain attributed to the original creator

8. Prohibited Activities

You may not:

  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Service
  • Circumvent payment systems or security measures
  • Resell or redistribute access to the Service
  • Create a competing service using our platform
  • Use templates, device frames or other assets from the Service beyond what section 5.6 allows

9. Service Availability

9.1 "As Is" Service

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties
  • We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service
  • We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features at any time

9.2 Maintenance

  • Scheduled maintenance may cause temporary downtime
  • We will provide notice when possible

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • WE MAKE NO WARRANTIES ABOUT THE SERVICE'S RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, OR ACCURACY
  • WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE SECURE OR FREE FROM BUGS OR VIRUSES
  • YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE IS AT YOUR OWN RISK

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:

  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR DATA LOSS (you should back up your work)
  • OUR TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE PAST 12 MONTHS

Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, so they may not apply to you.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

  • Your use of the Service
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any rights of others
  • Your content

13. Termination

13.1 By Us

  • We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms
  • We may terminate your account with or without cause with reasonable notice
  • Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately

13.2 By You

  • You may cancel a Pro subscription at any time from Manage Subscription in the editor's account menu
  • You may ask us to delete your account and its data at any time by emailing us

13.3 Effect of Termination

  • Your subscription will be canceled
  • Your data will be retained for 30 days, then permanently deleted
  • Some data may be retained for legal compliance

14. Dispute Resolution

14.1 Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

14.2 Venue

Any legal action must be brought in the courts of Pakistan.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

  • Posting a notice on the Service
  • Sending an email to your registered address

Your continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

16. Miscellaneous

16.1 Severability

If any provision of these Terms is invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.

16.2 Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.

16.3 No Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision does not constitute a waiver.

16.4 Assignment

You may not assign these Terms. We may assign our rights and obligations.
